CLINICAL CARE EXCELLENCE

We recognise the clinicians who have made an outstanding contribution through:

  • Leading, developing and delivering programs that have a positive outcome for our customers

  • A personal commitment to continuing education
  • Consistent technical excellence in their daily nursing practice.

We recognise our employees who have provided outstanding and compassionate care through:

  • An outstanding contribution to improving care for residents and or clients
  • Positive results in residents and client care every day, sometimes in the face of adversity or other challenges
  • Understanding, compassion, or courage
  • A willingness to ensure our residents and clients are the centre of everything they do.

Open to carers providing care outside of a memory support unit (MSU) in residential, home care, day respite and retirement living.

OUTSTANDING DEMENTIA CARE

We recognise our employees who have provided outstanding and compassionate dementia care through:

  • An outstanding contribution to improving care for dementia residents or clients
  • Positive results in residents or clients dementia care every day, sometimes in the face of adversity or other challenges
  • Understanding, compassion or courage
  • A willingness to ensure our dementia customers are the centre of everything they do.

Open to all employees working in dementia care, including but not limited to residential, home care, day respite, retirement living, allied health, catering, laundry, lifestyle or maintenance.

VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR

We recognise volunteers who have provided outstanding service through:

  • Working tirelessly at a facility for an extended period
  • Providing exceptional care and support for older people and their carers
  • Adding to the everyday experiences of our customers and enriching their lives
  • Providing great support to our employees.

We will recognise teams who have made a significant and voluntary contribution to environmental sustainability through projects that:

  • Have had a positive impact on the environment and have a meaningful and demonstrable impact on Regis by helping protect the environment and/or enhance the quality of life for customers
  • Embraces innovation/ creativity and is a new concept, technology, or practice for Regis
  • Overcame challenges to be implemented
  • Is transferable and can be replicated by sites/ teams
  • Demonstrates initiative and how the group took voluntary action to move environmental sustainability forward at their site.

QUALITY AND SAFETY IMPROVEMENT AWARD

We recognise employees and/or teams who have responded to the needs of residents, clients, and their families, and that have made a real difference to those in our care. We recognise individuals or teams who:

  • Actively listen to feedback, concerns, and suggestions from residents and clients, and then go above and beyond to implement tangible, innovative, and consumer focused improvements
  • Recognise that residents and clients are partners in their care and promote collaboration between residents/clients and the healthcare team to improve their experience while in our care
  • Demonstrate transparency in communicating the progress of improvements made based on feedback
  • Who have improved the safety and quality of care.

Open to homes, services, individuals or teams that have acted on feedback to improve resident or client outcomes.

Awarded to the Home with the best safety performance as measured by the Care Index across the full year.

CEO AWARD

The winner is selected by the CEO from all shortlisted nominations and goes to the team or individual whose actions make them a true ambassador of Regis. This award recognises integrity, exceptional skills, leadership and/or innovation, and those who have had a positive impact on our customers and/or colleagues.

Open to employees who have been nominated for other awards.

The Home of the Year Award recognises the home with the best overall performance across the financial year against:

  • Quality
  • Employee Engagement
  • Catering
  • Lifestyle
  • Safety

All Homes considered. Evaluations are completed by an Executive Leadership Team judging panel.
