Criteria

Recognising employees who have made an outstanding positive impact to environmental sustainability by:

  • Implementing new methods or projects to improve or reduce environmental impacts.
  • Demonstrating connection between environmental efforts and improved quality of life for residents/clients.
  • Committing to sustainability principles in work practices, policies or projects.
  • Incorporating innovative technologies or solutions to address environmental issues.
  • Promoting environmental awareness and inspiring others to take action.
  • Identifying environmental efforts that can be shared and replicated by other sites or teams.

Excellence in Clinical Care

Open to

All individual employees in clinical roles such as Enrolled Nurse (EN), Registered Nurse (RN), Clinical Team Leader (CTL), Clinical Care Coordinator (CCC), Clinical Care Manager (CCM) and Clinical Care Specialist (CCS)

Criteria

Recognising employees who have made an outstanding contribution through:

  • Demonstrating exceptional clinical skills in daily nursing practice.
  • Compassionate support and care that enhances resident quality of life.
  • Leading safety, quality and improvement in clinical practice.
  • A commitment to improving the health outcomes for residents.
  • Providing leadership and mentoring to other team members, promoting best practices in clinical care.
  • Demonstrating a commitment to ongoing clinical professional development.

Excellence in Person-centred Dementia Care

Open to

All individual employees supporting residents/clients living with dementia

Criteria

Recognising employees who have provided outstanding compassionate person-centred dementia care through:

  • Demonstrating exceptional care practices tailored to the needs of residents/clients living with dementia in our care.
  • Meaningful engagement with residents/clients, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.
  • Implementation of innovative approaches that enhance the quality of life for residents/clients living with dementia.
  • Promoting awareness and advocacy for residents/clients living with dementia.

Excellence in Service and Support

Open to

All employees—individuals or teams—in catering, cleaning, laundry, lifestyle, maintenance, administration within the Home or Home Care and Retirement Living

Criteria

Recognising employees who have made an outstanding contribution through:

  • Reliable and consistent service, contributing to a supportive and engaging environment for residents/clients.
  • Demonstrating a positive impact on the overall wellbeing and experience of the residents/ clients through their specific role.
  • Supporting residents/clients to live life on their terms.
  • A commitment to safety, quality, improvement and efficiency for all.
  • Working effectively and collaboratively with colleagues to ensure quality care and service delivery.

Initiative or Innovation of the Year

All employees—individuals or teams

Criteria

Recognising employees who have demonstrated outstanding initiative by:

  • Introducing new ideas, processes, services or projects that positively impact residents, clients, colleagues or Regis.
  • Streamlining processes, saving time or optimising resources.
  • Demonstrating originality and creativity, offering a unique solution to a problem.
  • Achieving clear, measurable outcomes that demonstrate the effectiveness of the initiative.

Outstanding Carer

Open to

All individual employees who are Assistants in Nursing (AINs), Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) or Home Support Workers (HSWs)

Criteria

Recognising employees who have provided outstanding compassionate care and support through:

  • Treating residents with dignity and respect, acknowledging their individual needs and preferences.
  • Delivering a high standard of personal care, ensuring the physical, psychological, emotional, cultural and spiritual wellbeing of residents/clients.
  • Working to enhance the quality of life for residents/clients, promoting their independence and autonomy.
  • Maintaining consistent and dependable support to residents/clients.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and contributing to a positive work environment.

  • Enhancing resident wellbeing and quality of life.
  • Initiating activities that are person-centred and meaningful to the resident.
  • Collaborating with the Home and employees to achieve greater care and support outcomes for residents.
  • Demonstrating the Regis Values in all volunteer activities.
  • Positive feedback from residents, families and employees.
